Stories Stop Silencing TED Talk
Dr. Ayesha Ahmad presents a TED Talk about storytelling amid violence.

Stories connect us to the world, to ourselves, and to others. We can find stories everywhere, even where there are attempts to silence them, as in conflict settings. The power of stories can be seen in such attempts to silence them.
Dr. Ahmad describes the sacrifices required of storytellers to continue to create while surrounded by violence. She uses examples of exiled writers, speakers, poets and artists who would not be silenced and thus left behind a story-legacy.
